Black people love “chinkiness”, i.e, a non politically correct and supposed likeness of or to something or someone of Asian descent. We frequent Asian beauty supply stores with ferocity, we love that 10 piece rib tip and fries special at the China Kitchen, and God bless the lil’ black child that’s got slanted eyes- she will surely be a top model one day! As a matter of fact, I believe the fake ponytail phenomenon came not out of the desire for a longer, easier-to-maintain coif, but for the desire to be able to pull your facial muscles back so tight that your eyes have no choice but to slant upward, in the traditionally lauded stereotypical Asian fashion.
And it’s not just the ladies. the Brothas have had an obsession with the martial arts and Asian women for decades (think Wesley Snipes or Kareem Abdul Jabar in Bruce Lee’s “Game of Death”) Did it begin with the world wars? I can’t say…perhaps Matthew Henson in his journey to the North Pole discovered the beauty of the native Alaskan women, the Inuit, the Aleut, the Athabaskan, and the Tlingit- who some argue are close relatives or at least a derivative of the Asiatic cultures. Brothas have built an entire hip hop empire on the ways of the Shaolin philosophy (and if you don’t know, that would be the Wu Tang Clan). Don’t believe me? Go to your gramma’s house, step over that huge Chinese elephant sculpture she has in the living room and ask her if she ever wore Chinese bangs. Then ask your grandad if he ever owned a pair of those lil chinese slippers….

First off, LOL. Why is it that we love the “chinkiness?” I happen to be one of those Black people with the chinky eyes. Folks still can’t figure me out. Chocolate girl, chinky eyes, thick curly/wavy/kinky hair. STOP ASKING WHAT ARE YOU??? Lol. I’m black dammit. Kudos for the blog… I’ll be lurking

Over the years, rappers have shown their affinity for Asian women (or anyone with a drop of Asian blood) by placing them in their videos heavily.

Like so many people, black people love the “exotic”. We don’t want to look like the “ole regular black person” we want to look like we have something else in our blood. Other people do the same things but black people attach a different importance to it.

The Black man may love chinkiness but no such adoration is shown by Black women. We don’t want anything the Asian woman has and shopping at Asian owned beauty supply stores is only proof that Asians, like all other races, have been given the GO sign to open up businesses in our neighborhoods. Asians get hair and food stores, Latinos get bodegas and Arabs get liquor stores.
By the way, your posts are another example of why Black men are no longer suitable to run the Black race. His adoration of all things non Black conflict with his ability to put Black women and children first.

I like it because A. its rarer than a unicorn with wings, an asian woman with an ass is like finding a gold bar laying around. B. You never get the evil looks from sistas because they can’t figure out what she is, so they bitch about her hair instead.
C. Yes it inhances my international player status having a lady from a country most black folks never heard of, Madagascar, Huh?
D. Because we are naturally attracted to each other. Asian (Filipinos) dudes love sisters! The smaller they are in relation to the sista the more they love it.

One more thing asian women are many times more materialistic than sisters. Because black poverty in US cannot compare with 3rd world poverty so when they get here or raise families here being broke, hanging with broke, dating broke is totally out of the question.
